About

Creative
Our Story
LunchTray Creative was created in 2020 out of a desire to highlight the basic yet important details in storytelling. Our mission is to empower everyone from teachers and community members to artists and activists to share their stories, bravely and powerfully. We achieve this by working intimately with our clients who are the true heroes of their stories.

Our Leader
Shane T. Watson is passionate about storytelling and working with young people. After graduating from Rhodes College he joined the Lake County team at Crossroads to Freedom. His goal was to help a small rural community capture its oral histories. From there he accepted a position in Lake County focused on helping students reach success. It was in this year that he knew he needed to improve his storytelling skills and chose to attend film school in San Francisco. During his studies, he taught Oakland high school students how to effectively capture share their stories.
After graduating with his MFA in Film, Shane’s short film, I Live Here, earned a Student Academy Award nomination from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Since the success of his film, he’s worked on multiple feature film projects and client projects for organizations like uAspire—a nonprofit laser-focused on helping first-generation college students make an affordable college choice.
